Join us at Carroll County Public Library (CCPL) Finksburg Branch as the Chesapeake Mermaid shares her love of the bay through an engaging live show with storytelling, music, movement, and more fun. Guests are invited to learn about her wildlife friends, explore bay creature sign language, and take part in an interactive storytime that encourages curiosity and imagination for all ages. The experience also includes “Mermaid Moments,” where families can enjoy personal interactions and take photos to remember the day following our program. Chesapeake Mermaid Storytime Fun takes place on Monday, June 22, 2026 from 11am to 1pm at CCPL Finksburg Branch situated at 2265 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, MD, 21048. The Chesapeake Mermaid’s performances will begin promptly at 11am. The event is free and open to the public but registration is required. Register at Library.carr.org. Handicapped parking available and location is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
